Italian actress Monica Bellucci features in the editorial “Monica l’Italianissime” of Madame Figaro’s July 2013 issue. In the interview, she promotes her new film “L’amour et la paix” (Love and Peace) by Emir Kusturica and talks about maternity and cinema.
“I decided to become a mother at the age of 37, when I had already built up a good career,” she says. “Making a child at that moment was a real luxury. Unfortunately, many of my friends who have children don’t live their maternity the way I do, because they are confronted with multiple tasks.”
“I’m not afraid of getting older. I’m only afraid of diseases. I dream of being healthy until the age of 150, of continuing to drink cappuccini with my friends and to die peacefully in my sleep.”
