Glenmorangie is a world-famous distillery founded in 1843 in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, in the Royal Burgh of Tain. Glenmorangie founder, William Matheson, had an extraordinary vision. By using the tallest stills in Scotland, he was laying the foundations of what would become one of the most famous single malt Scotch whiskies in the world. Their main product is the range of Glenmorangie single malt whisky. The Glenmorangie Company also owns the Ardbeg Distillery on Islay. Glenmorangie unites traditional techniques with new innovative processes.

Sumptuous and warming, the Glenmorangie Nectar D’Or has lain for ten years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before completing its final two years in ex-wine barriques from Sauternes in France. Glenmorangie hand-select these casks from this most acclaimed sweet wine growing region to develop a whisky of rich dessert-like character.

Aroma: Lime and orange rind, sultanas and dates deliver a rich fruity flavour laced with tantalising spices of coconut and nutmeg.

Taste: Ginger, nutmeg and toasted almonds bring a deep, warming taste interwoven with a syrupy lemon meringue and honeycomb middle.

Finish: Long and ambrosial sweet finish with lemon zest, white chocolate, vanilla and traces of ginger and nutmeg.
