Peter Philips, creative and image director of Dior Make-Up since 2014, is known for his modern vision of beauty. From 2008 to 2013, he was creative director of Chanel Make-Up and introduced a series of bestselling beauty products: Illusion d’Ombre, an intensely shimmering long-wear eyeshadow, and Le Vernis nail polish, e.g. Jade, Mimosa and Particulière.
For Fall/Winter 2015-16, Dior has imagined a woman who is animalistic and loves to wear an intense eye makeup: in plum, khaki and purple from the 5 Couleurs Cosmopolite Exubérante palette, and in bronze and blue from the 5 Couleurs Cosmopolite Eclectic palette.
The rest of the makeup is very natural. Unified by a fluid foundation, imperfections around the eye area are blurred with the Fix it 2-in-1 Prime & Concealer, and as an ultimate burst of light, Diorskin Nude Cosmopolite illuminator is dabbed on the cheekbones. Similarly, the lips, simply dabbed with the Fix it 2-in-1 Prime & Concealer stick, display a discreetly gentle color.
